The Berthoud Fire Protection District Board of Directors recently adopted the 2024 edition of the International Fire Code by resolution on August 12, 2025.   

Until resolutions adopting the 2024 IFC are approved by the governing bodies of each  jurisdition that lies within the Town and Counties the District services, the District is currently enforcing the 2021 International Fire Code within the Town of Berthoud, and Boulder and Larimer Counties, and the 2018 International Fire Code is enforced within Weld County.
